Nominations Open for #CelebrateEssex Youth and Adult Coaches

Latest Category Window Open Until Friday 16th February

Know a youth or adult coach who deserves recognition for their work in training and on matchdays? Nominate them for this month’s #CelebrateEssex ‘Youth or Adult Coach’ category.

We're now accepting nominations for the latest category through our Twitter/X account. Anyone who knows a special youth or adult coach who does outstanding work can nominate them until Friday 16th February.

#CelebrateEssex, organised via the @EssexCountyFA Twitter/X account, showcases personal stories from Essex grassroots personalities, increasing their visibility as role models and inspiring new faces to join the community as volunteers. Once nominations for the monthly contest close, a final voting stage will identify the latest winner.

How can you make a nomination?

If you know a ‘Youth or Adult Coach’ who you think should receive some special thanks, anyone can make a nomination by tweeting (by Friday 16th February):

“I nominate [Insert Name or Twitter Username] from [Insert Club/Team or Twitter Username] as @EssexCountyFA #CelebrateEssex Youth/Adult Coach [delete as appropriate] because…”

State why your nominee should be the winner and be as descriptive as you can in 280 characters! It’s important to use the #CelebrateEssex hashtag to ensure your entry is registered.

Once nominations have closed, the submissions will be reviewed, and a vote will be set-up for the chosen nominees to decide the winner. You can find further #CelebrateEssex coverage by using the search function above or by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
