Male Pathway

Evolving and Growing Year-on-Year

from under 6s through to walking football

A Football Offer For All in the Male Pathway

The male pathway within Essex continues to evolve and grow year-on-year. The Football Development Team are always looking at new ways to help sustain and develop the pathway across all of its formats.

The pathway begins as early as Under 6s within mini-soccer, and the journey of those players can take them all the way to Walking Football, with the foundations being put in place by many of our member clubs to ensure there is an offer for everyone within the male pathway.

This section of our Club Development Hub will provide support to clubs, leagues and volunteers on how to develop and sustain the male pathway within their environments across all formats: Mini-Soccer, Youth Football, Open-Age, Veterans and Walking Football.

Through a variety of resource guides and webinars, there is something for all across the grassroots landscape in the male pathway. Whether you are a one-team adult club or a 20+-team youth football club, we’re ready to support your club in providing a safe, fun and inclusive grassroots football environment in Essex.
