Basildon Boys & Girls Club: We’re an FA Charter Standard Club looking for a Club Secretary. You need to be an excellent communicator, have excellent administration and organisational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The current Club Secretary is stepping down in May 2020. Training, a handover and initial support will be provided. This is an excellent volunteering opportunity to be involved in a grassroots, award-winning club. Our Club Secretary provides a central point of contact for administration, information and communication. It is the Club Secretary who initially deals with all correspondence and communications, and is key to the smooth running of our club. The Club Secretary also provides a link between members, the Essex County FA, leagues, other clubs and external organisations. The Club Secretary reports to the Club Chairperson to act as a main point of contact for the club, maintaining records and information in relation to the FA Whole Game System and all administration and communications within the club. You’ll deal with all internal and external correspondence and process and deliver appropriate correspondence, organise committee meetings and AGMs, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute and communicate these as appropriate. You’ll liaise with other club committee members to ensure all appropriate administration is in place. The age groups run from Under 7s to Under 17s and open-age. We play in the Brentwood Community Football Alliance Youth League, the Southend & District Junior League and the Southend Sunday League. Chigwell Men’s Club: We’re looking for a Coach/Manager, with an FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate, if possible. Chelmsford City Youth: We are an FA Charter Standard club who are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to take on Team Manager roles at the following age groups for next season: Under 7s, 13s, 14s and 17s. For the Under 7s positions, no prior experience is required and training (including funding for an FA Level 1 course) will be provided. For the Under 13s, 14s and 17s roles some prior experience and a relevant qualification (minimum FA Level 1) is preferred.
