Please Note (13/3/20 Update): The BBC Essex Senior Cup Final has been postponed. All Essex County FA Cup fixtures and coach education courses have been postponed until after Friday 3rd April in alignment with the professional game, following the Football Association’s statement regarding the Coronavirus outbreak.

Billericay Town and Dagenham & Redbridge go head-to-head in the BBC Essex Senior Cup Final on Tuesday 31st March at the Jobserve Community Stadium (kick-off 7:45pm), and match tickets are now on sale.

A large crowd is expected at Colchester United FC as the National League Daggers take on the Blues, from National League South. Parking information has also been confirmed for supporters, with tickets priced at £12 for adults, £6 for seniors aged 65+ and £1 for under 18s. Accompanied under 11s are able to watch for free. A pre-match referee workshop is also taking place.

Billericay supporters will be situated in Blocks 1-3 of the West Stand, while Dagenham fans can watch from Blocks 7-9. Supporters can take advantage of the Park & Ride facilities in Cuckoo Farm Way, while standard parking spaces are also available.

Bars and refreshments will be available around the stadium and matchday programmes can be purchased for £2 each. Essex County FA Chief Executive, Brendan Walshe, is looking forward to another showcase event for local football, explaining: “The BBC Essex Senior Cup Final is always one of the marquee events of every season, and this year will be no different.”

“We’re looking forward to the night and would urge everyone to secure their places in the stands or workshop as soon as they can. We’re also excited to, once again, provide a useful workshop before the game where referees can attend and gather invaluable knowledge on the pathway available to them from people who know it well.”

Match tickets will be available on the night from the Ticket Office, though booking online and using the ‘Print at Home’ option is advised to reduce queuing. The Ticket Office is also open in person from Monday to Friday (10:00am-2:00pm). Any wheelchair, ambulant or disabled tickets (or disabled parking needed) can be arranged by calling (01206) 755161 (Monday to Friday, 10:00am-3:00pm).

Parking

Park & Ride (£3): Cuckoo Farm Way, Off A12 Junction 28, Mile End, Colchester, Essex, CO4 5JA. Pre-booking is required. Supporters should then walk the Boxted Road route to the stadium (pathway at the back of the Park & Ride Car Park) rather than taking the risk of crossing the junction, which is very unsafe.

Referee Workshop with Jon Moss

It's more than just a match! As well the hugely-anticipated BBC Essex Senior Cup Final, the Essex County FA are staging a Continued Professional Development (CPD) session for referees at the JobServe Community Stadium from 6:15pm.

Select Group One Referee Jon Moss has been lined-up to share his knowledge and experiences as well as details on how to progress, develop and improve refereeing skills. Jon was promoted to the Football League as an assistant referee, and was in that role for two years before becoming a referee in 2005. He was appointed to his first Premier League match in December 2010.
