Suffolk & Essex Border Walking Football League: We’re looking for a Fixture Secretary. Skills required: ability to manage fixtures and communicate to clubs; ability to work on fixture re-arrangements at short notice; ability to deal with clubs’ conflicting requests and expectations; use and understanding of The FA’s Whole Game and Full-Time Systems; ability to communicate with clubs regarding reporting of results. Requirements of role: arrangement, rearrangement and publication of fixtures; booking of pitches with assistance of clubs; collation and checking of scorelines; collation and checking of match returns for ineligible players; collation and checking of goalscorers; publication of results/tables on The FA’s Whole Game and Full-Time Systems. Skills required: ability to communicate with referees; knowledge of FA rules concerning refereeing; understanding of the National Referee Development Programme. Requirements of role: referee appointments to fixtures; referee re-appointments to fixtures; communication of appointments and re-appointments; collation of referee marks; handling of reports regarding refereeing appointments; supplying marks to County FAs; collation of referee match report forms; looking after referees at cup finals and other key games; supporting the development of referees in conjunction with the County FA Referee Development Officer. East Thurrock United YFC: We’re an FA Charter Standard Club looking for Under 7s Managers, as well as coaches for under 5s to sevens. You’ll look to bring fun and creativity to sessions with our youngest groups. Our Under 7s play in the Brentwood Community Football Alliance Youth League. Training is on Saturdays from 9:00-10:00am or 10:00-11:00am (depending on age), with possible Sundays (can be discussed). We’re a supportive and friendly club.
