Colchester United FC and Redbridge FC will now compete in the 2023/24 BBC Essex Senior Cup Final at Dagenham & Redbridge FC on Tuesday 19th March, with a 7:45pm kick-off at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

The venue for this prestigious match has been changed due to challenging weather conditions. Consideration was also given to the requirements of The U’s to complete their remaining EFL League Two matches, and to prevent future fixture difficulties for both finalists. Tickets can still be purchased for Tuesday’s match by following this link.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £8 for seniors aged 65+ and under 17/18s and £2 for under 16s. Colchester United fans will be situated in the SD Samuels Stand (Blocks 6-8), while Redbridge supporters will be in the Jax Sun Services Stand (Blocks 1-57). All tickets and parking purchased via Colchester United FC have been refunded back to their original payment method.

As a result of the change of venue, several elements of the off-pitch activities have had to be amended. Unfortunately, the Referee and Coach CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Workshops have been postponed. Attendees at both have been contacted relating to refunds. In addition, the FA Cup silverware will no longer be on display at the new venue.
