Hashtag United host Chelmsford City and Billericay Town face Billericay Town Reserves following the draw for the semi-finals of the BBC Essex Women’s Cup, which was broadcast by the competition’s supporters on Friday 26th January.

The Tags recorded a 4-1 home triumph against Bowers & Pitsea in the quarter-finals. Now they entertain a Chelmsford side who emerged from a thrilling Stanway Pegasus clash with a 5-3 win. Billericay were victors by a single goal at home to Hashtag United Reserves, earning a tie against their own Reserves, who won 2-1 against Southend United Community Sports Club.

Four teams remain to compete for a place in Thursday 11th April’s final at Colchester United FC. Victoria Polley from BBC Essex was responsible for drawing the home clubs, while Essex County FA Football Development Officer, Emma Burden, drew out the away teams.
