Draw Made for BBC Essex Senior Cup Semi-Finals
The remaining clubs in the weather-affected 2023/24 BBC Essex Senior Cup found out who they could face in the semi-finals after the draw for the final four was broadcast by the competition’s supporters on Friday 26th January.
It’s been a disrupted competition of late, with no semi-final certainties as yet, though the remaining clubs will all be bidding for a place in the eventual final on Tuesday 19th March at Colchester United FC. Three quarter-finals are currently scheduled for the week beginning Monday 5th February, with the fourth taking place the following week.
Whoever emerges from a trio of Colchester United, Buckhurst Hill or Canvey Island will host either Hashtag United or Aveley. Meanwhile, Concord Rangers or Redbridge will entertain Maldon & Tiptree, Witham Town or Little Oakley. Victoria Polley from BBC Essex helped with the draw, taking responsibility for the home clubs, while Mark Wallis from the Essex County FA Cups & Competitions Department drew out the aways.
