Two teams in the top six of the ProKit Essex Olympian League Premier Division, Shenfield A and Rayleigh Town, will go head-to-head in the BBC Essex Saturday Premier Cup Quarter-Finals after the draw was broadcast by the competition’s supporters on Friday 26th January.
In the one confirmed fixture, holders Shenfield’s reward for their 5-3 win at St Martin’s School against Walthamstow Reserves is another home tie. This time, they’ll face Rayleigh, 2-1 victors over Manford Way in the last round. Heybridge Swifts Reserves, who recorded a 3-1 triumph against Sungate, take on Wakering Sports or Woodford Town Reserves.
Tiptree Heath beat Kit Out London Community 2-0, meaning they now travel to whoever progresses out of Harold Wood Athletic or Harold Wood Athletic Reserves. Other matches on Saturday 27th January will determine who from Basildon Town Reserves or Brightlingsea Town will welcome either Hashtag United Development or Catholic United.
Winter has played its part in the progress of this competition, though the remaining clubs will be keen to stay involved until Wednesday 17th April, when the final takes place at Billericay Town FC. BBC Essex’s Victoria Polley drew out the home teams, while Mark Wallis from the Essex County FA Cups & Competitions Department was responsible for the aways.
Those quarter-finals are due to take place on Saturday 10th February, and all the information you need to know across Essex’s 24 county cups can be found in the 'Cups & Competitions' menu above, by following @EssexCountyFA on Twitter/X, or by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
