Play a Key Strategic Part in Local Grassroots Football

A Marketing & Communications Officer position is currently available at the Essex County FA which will make a key contribution towards our #MovingForward Strategy, including operating and maintaining our website and social media accounts.

Alongside strategic communications involvement, the role includes coordinating the publication of online and printed County FA material, including E-Mail marketing and news stories. Candidates with an enthusiasm for grassroots football are invited to apply by Monday 11th March.

The new Marketing & Communications Officer will support the maintenance of the County FA brand. They’ll ensure established online platforms remain as central resources for the dissemination of information to all stakeholders, as well as contributing new ideas. The position which will feature a blend of home-working, and further responsibilities will include:

* developing links within the media to ensure regular coverage of Essex County FA activities
* expertly and effectively managing incoming media requests
* supporting the delivery of a programme of public events, particularly County Cup Finals


Essex County FA Communications & Partnerships Manager, Chris Evans, explained: “We’re looking for applicants with a passion and aptitude for marketing, as well as a keen interest in local football. This is a key role within the County FA structure, as effective communication is vital in order for us to deliver messages relating to our development and administrative activities.”
