Female Coaching Community Event

We're excited to announce our second event of the season on Wednesday 8th March, in celebration of International Women's Day

In Celebration of International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8th March, we’re delighted to announce our next Female Coaching Community event. We will be hosting the event on Wednesday 8th March, at Aveley Football Club between 7:00pm-9:30pm.

Emma Burden, Essex FA’s Women’s and Girls Development Officer, is looking forward to the upcoming event, after the success of the first one. “Our Female Coaches Event was really well attended and gave everyone an opportunity to get together in an informal environment and talk through their coaching journey to date.  It was really empowering seeing so many females who are getting involved and taking that step across the side lines from all walks of life. We’re really looking forward to the next one on the 8th March!

The evening will begin with a practical observation that is being supported by Aveley U14 Girls, allowing the coaches the opportunity to learn with a real life, practical example. This will be followed by support and coaching discussions, with the opportunity to hear from key female role models, including:

  • Yasmin Hussain- Essex Community Champion and Frenford FC Coach/Developer
  • Carly Wiliams- U14 Head Coach Arsenal, Mentor and English Schools Coach
  • Tyra Mills- Talent ID Reporter, London FA Youth Council, FA Elite Mentee
  • Sharon Muxworthy- FA Coach Development Officer (W&G) South East

The event is open to all female coaches, no matter your experience and with no qualifications necessary. Level 1-4 coaches will benefit from Accredited CPD hours for attendance.
