Do You Have What It Takes To Support Essex’s Referee Strategy?

Applications are being welcomed for an Essex County FA Referee Development Officer vacancy as we seek a suitable candidate to support the implementation and delivery of the referees section of our ambitious #MovingForward Strategy 2024.

Tasks will include providing more development opportunities and enhancing the support and guidance to the referee workforce, with a Monday 6th June deadline for submissions. The position will be based at the County Office in Chelmsford, with a blend of home working.

The role encompasses strategic planning and the implementation of effective recruitment, conversion, retention and progression strategies, supporting referee and the refereeing workforce (coaches, mentors and observers) and providing appropriate guidance with safeguarding training and DBS requirements.
