A sensational double-hat-trick from Aryanna Adesan helped Bowers & Pitsea on their way to Essex Under 14s Girls Cup Final success against Great Danes at Aveley FC.

Adesan netted six times, combined with further strikes from Jessica McCrae, Kaltrina Ibrahimi (2) and Kiera Keys as Bowers went on to deservedly lift the silverware against a Great Danes side who did their club proud with an appearance in a prestige county final.

The fixture started off with dominance from Bowers as they took the lead through a McCrae shot which was slammed into the roof of the net. Just a minute later, they grabbed their second as Adesan forced her way through and finished well. Bowers got their third when Ibrahimi looped home a very fine finish.

On 19 minutes, with the contest effectively over, Adesan got her second, firing in from long range. And Adesan managed to get herself an early hat-trick, rolling the ball into an empty net in the 21st minute. Bowers were in ruthless mood and they managed to get their sixth of the game, Adesan’s fourth, as she converted via a low, angled shot.

Bowers’ seventh in the 46th minute arrived via Ibrahimi, who slotted the ball into the right-hand corner. Adesan’s personal fifth followed courtesy of an excellent long, strong run with a cool finish, making it 8-0 to Bowers. Adesan then, incredibly, scored her sixth of the game almost immediately afterwards, completing a neat passing move with a good low finish.

Great Danes still competed admirably and they had a rare chance of their own in the 61st minute as Victoria Haydushka’s free kick dropped just over the top of the crossbar. However, the tenth and final goal of the game was scored by Bowers in the second minute of additional time. Keys flicked the ball home from a deep free kick.
