We are looking for a Referee Development Officer to provide more development opportunities and enhancing the support and guidance to the referee workforce in-line with our ambitious #MovingForward Strategy 2024.

Applications are being welcomed for the vacancy as we seek a suitable candidate to support the implementation and delivery of the referees section of the strategy, with an extended Monday 4th July deadline for submissions (current applications received are still being considered). The position will be based at the County Office in Chelmsford, with a blend of home working.

The role encompasses strategic planning and the implementation of effective recruitment, conversion, retention and progression strategies, supporting referee and the refereeing workforce (coaches, mentors and observers) and providing appropriate guidance with safeguarding training and DBS requirements.
