Club Matters Presents Free Open Workshop Programme

Sport England Club Matters Workshops are currently available to support and develop clubs and community sports organisations across the country.

Covering a range of topics from marketing to legal structures and community engagement, they’re accessible via the Sport England website. The workshops are short, free training sessions which will develop skills, improve knowledge and, ultimately, help to develop a club.

They’re for groups of at least four clubs and they build on the content of the online resources on Sport England’s website, with case studies, topical issues, exercises and a discussion section. Individuals who are looking to attend a workshop can register their interest in topics such as volunteer experience, financial sustainability and planning for the future.

Funded by Sport England, each workshop typically lasts two hours and they’re open to anyone involved with a community sports club. Visit the Sport England Club Matters website to sign-up. You can also find information in the menus above, by following @EssexCountyFA on Twitter and by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
