Positions have become available for a number of paid roles within our Girls' Regional Talent Club (RTC) in Colchester to enable local female footballers to fulfil their sporting potential, with applications welcome until Wednesday 3rd August.
We have proudly delivered The FA’s Regional Talent Club programme for the last nine seasons and, more recently, have been rewarded an extension to continue to operate the programme until the end of the 2022/23 season. This extension falls in-line with The FA’s ongoing review of the current pathway and provision for talented female players.
The FA Girls RTC programme identifies and supports the development of elite female players within a technical and educational programme to help them to be the best they can be. To ensure that we can continue to meet the programme’s purpose, and the licence requirements outlined by The FA, a number of roles have become available:
* Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist (application deadline Monday 25th July)
* Goalkeeping Coach
* Physical Performance Coach
* Under 16s Assistant Coach
The successful candidates will support age group coaches in physically preparing the players for the technical programme ‘The Essex Way’, as well as delivering the centre’s vision and ethos during training, with the aim of developing each and every player. They’ll have an overview and understanding of the need for collaborative working to support player development.
Full role profiles can be found below. The application window closes at midnight on Wednesday 3rd August. A provisional interview period has been set for the week commencing Monday 8th August, which will include an evening practical session on either the Monday evening (6:00-8:00pm) or the Wednesday (6:30-8:00pm) in Colchester.
