Opportunity to Enhance Football with the Essex County FA

A Football Development Officer position has become available at the Essex County FA to help enhance grassroots football provision, with a specific focus on the local authority areas of Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock.

We're looking for an influential and motivated new member of our Development Team to help develop projects which support clubs, leagues, volunteers and wider partners as part of the 2024 ‘Moving Forward’ Strategy. The application deadline is approaching, with submissions being welcomed until 5:00pm on Monday 15th November.

When identifying a suitable individual for the position, we will look for experience and knowledge of grassroots football and The FA’s National Game Strategy. An ability to manage a diverse work programme and multiple priorities is also a requirement, as well as good communication and project-planning skills. This vacancy is not a coaching role.
