Fully-Funded Places Programme

England Football Learning Provide Fully-Funded Course Places

Coaching Opportunities During the 2021/22 Season

England Football Learning have announced the launch of a fully-funded places initiative for the 2021/22 season, which will cover the cost of a percentage of places on the Introduction to Coaching Football (I2CF) and the UEFA ‘C’ Licence Courses.

The places, which have been funded by Sport England, will be provided for coaches who qualify for additional support in accessing coaching provision, with applications open until 10th January 2022. Submissions for a fully-funded place on the I2CF or the UEFA ‘C’ Licence can be made by logging-in to FA Learning and completing an application form to assess eligibility.

The programme is part of a wider goal of helping to increase participation within historically underrepresented groups (including female coaches and coaches from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, disabled and female backgrounds) as well as supporting individuals from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds.

Application for a fully-funded place on the I2CF requires completion of the BT Playmaker by England Football Course. To apply for a fully-funded place on the UEFA ‘C’, applicants must have completed either the Introduction to Coaching Football or the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football, the Safeguarding Children Course and the Introduction to First Aid in Football.

Find out more about how to apply for a fully-funded course place via this link. The application process should take around ten minutes to complete. Successful applicants will be contacted directly by England Football Learning with further instructions on how to redeem their place, which must be used on a course during the 2021/22 season.
