Coach Education Update

New Learning Experiences to Support Coaching Pathway

Essex Coach Development Programme Gets Underway

Our exciting new Coach Development Programme started this month, with almost 80 coaches attending the first three events.

Complementing the formal FA qualification pathway, the programme is designed to offer valuable face-to-face learning experiences for grassroots coaches. Recent workshops in Chelmsford, Colchester and Wickford have seen coaches from over 40 different clubs benefit from practical ‘On the Pitch’ ideas, brought to life by Essex County FA Coach Developers.

Our Coach Education Team have been pleased with attendee feedback so far, with many highlighting the benefits of networking with coaches from other clubs, seeing practical ideas brought to life and interacting with experienced Coach Developers and County FA staff.

There are plenty more opportunities for coaches to access support countywide, through various workshops to suit those working with players of all ages and abilities. Dates are currently available until the end of October and can be found here.
