Girls Regional Talent Club Need Sports Therapist/Physiotherapist

Injury Treatment and Prevention for Players within an Elite Environment

The Essex County FA Girls Regional Talent Club (RTC) are seeking to recruit a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join their Medical Team and provide physiotherapy services during training sessions and matches, with applications required by Monday 28th September.

The key responsibilities of this role include providing first-class assessment of, and the effective treatment and rehabilitation of, all injured players at the club. Leading preventative rehabilitation strategies will also be a key task, in close liaison with the RTC coaching staff.

The successful candidate will make sure the management of injuries effectively meets the commitment and duty of care of the RTC towards the players and liaise with external medics, where necessary, to ensure the correct assessment and management of all injuries.

Candidates will be required to commit to a flexible rota, covering a Saturday fixture schedule and evening training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. Training and home games take place in Colchester, with a variety of away games. It is a requirement to be a HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist or maintain full membership of the Society of Sports Therapy.
