Essex Clubs Can Enjoy Charter Standard Benefits

Funding, Kit, Equipment and Support Available

Does your football club want more support? More funds? Better equipment? If the answer is yes, you should consider becoming FA Charter Standard-accredited to access a range of extended benefits such as funding, kit and resources.

The Charter Standard programme is The FA’s accreditation scheme open to all grassroots clubs and leagues. It aims to raise standards in the game by supporting the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding commitment, quality and achievement.

Clubs who achieve Charter Standard status are proud to be the best places for people to play and enjoy football. Places where people can develop skills, keep fit and enjoy being part of a friendly, inclusive community. Once accredited, Essex clubs have access to benefits including:

* help attracting players, supporters and volunteers
* funding for facilities, sustainability and growth
* kit and equipment
* access to promotional resources and guidance
* tailored support from the Essex County FA

Clubs just need to satisfy certain criteria to have a successful application, and many find they already meet some of these, or you are not far away from achieving them. The County FA can support clubs to get accredited and guide them through what they need to do.

If your club doesn’t already have Charter Standard status, but would like to enjoy all these benefits, get in touch and see how we can help make this a reality. You can also follow @EssexCountyFA on Twitter and search for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
