Female Friendly Workshops

Training to Help Build Right Female Club Environments

Free Events Will Advise on Creating Female-Friendly Clubs

An interactive workshop for club committee members and coaches will provide practical advice to help create the right club environment to grow female participation.

Clubs who want to grow new women’s and girls’ teams, and those who want to find out more about what an ideal ‘female friendly’ environment looks like, can book their places at The FA’s online ‘Female Friendly Clubs’ Training, with various sessions taking place from December to April.

Attendees will develop existing understanding of off-pitch and on-pitch considerations and discuss real-life case study examples to help build a ‘Gameplan For Growth’. The training is across two modules and all sessions run from 7:00-8:30pm.

Female football is a major part of the Essex County FA ‘Moving Forward’ Strategy, with a target to deliver bespoke development and meet the annual needs of the women's and girls' game for 5,104 players and 115 Wildcats Centres by 2021.

You can book onto the workshop by following this link. Information on female football is also shared on Twitter by @EssexCountyFA and by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
