Active Essex Open Nominations for 2019 Sports Awards
Active Essex are asking local sports enthusiasts to celebrate all things physical activity by nominating individuals and clubs for their 2019 Sports Awards.
The annual countywide awards, this year supported by Writtle University College, celebrate the outstanding achievements of the many clubs, groups, coaches, schools, workplaces, athletes and volunteers throughout Essex. Nominations can be made on their website by Sunday 20th October in the following categories:

Changing Lives through Sport and Physical Activity: An organisation or group who can demonstrate they have made a positive impact on people’s lives through a sport or physical activity project. For example, by increasing participation, by promoting stronger and safer communities or by improving health and wellbeing.

They will help young people understand and embrace daily exercise as beneficial to their health and wellbeing at school and beyond the academic years.
