Planning for your summer of football? With teams across the region advertising spaces at their tournaments and pre-season events, we will be publishing a weekly update of affiliated competitions in the 'Cups & Competitions' section of this website.

Every June is the ‘Closed Season’ for all 11v11 football in England, so many clubs find this an ideal opportunity to keep active with small-sided tournaments while the sun is shining. When the calendar reaches July, teams also begin their preparations for the following season and numerous eleven-a-side competitions take place, offering a great chance to play sides from different leagues.

In order to assist clubs who don’t know where to start when attempting to build a plan for the summer or pre-season, we publish a ‘Summer Tournaments’ document on our website, which is updated regularly. This contains listings of all the affiliated competitions in Essex, along with contact details. Many of these actively welcome applications from new participants.
