“We’re also excited to, once again, provide useful workshops before the game where referees and coaches can attend and gather invaluable knowledge on the pathway available to them from people who know it well. We’re looking forward to the night and would urge everyone to secure their places in the stands or workshops as soon as they can!”

Colchester United FC have hosted the last two Senior Cup Finals, with four-figure attendances at each. General Manager Tim Waddington commented: “We are delighted to once again be welcoming the Essex Senior Cup final to our stadium. The previous games have been intriguing affairs, with some fantastic football played.”

“I am sure that this year’s finalists will put on a good show for everyone who comes to watch. We are also pleased to be able to help the Essex County FA provide their additional activities in support of grassroots football, and we’re sure this will be a night to do the county proud.”

Match tickets will be available on the night from the Ticket Office, though booking online and using the ‘Print at Home’ option is advised to reduce queuing.
