Qualified Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) with good organisational skills are invited to apply for a Finance Officer vacancy to manage and support all aspects of the financial operations of the Essex County FA in Chelmsford.
Responsibilities for the full time, permanent position will include maintaining efficient and effective management and financial accounting processes, as well as assisting with payroll. The successful applicant will join a highly-regarded team at the County Office supporting the organisation to deliver the Essex County FA Strategic Plan and FA National Game Strategy 2018-2021. Applications are required by Thursday 10th May.
Further tasks include: purchase ledger duties (processing invoices and payment runs), raising sales invoices, post income from external systems, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, preparation and posting of required journals, reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheet items, overhead reports (budgets).
