EDI Calendar
The FA's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) calendar aims to celebrate and promote the diversity of the football community in England. The calendar is designed to raise awareness and understanding of different cultures, backgrounds and identities, and to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone involved in the game.
The EDI calendar features a range of events and activities that take place throughout the year, including International events that Celebrate different cultures and communities, including events such as Black History Month and Chinese New Year as well as Online Campaigns such as Social media campaigns, videos, and other digital content designed to promote EDI and raise awareness of different cultures, backgrounds and identities.
The FA's EDI calendar is an ongoing initiative, and the events and activities included within it are reviewed and updated regularly. By promoting EDI through its calendar, the FA aims to create a more inclusive and representative football community in England, where everyone feels valued and respected. Education Programme
At Essex County FA, we are committed to continued education around the EDI space. We are developing a seasonal education programme to ensure that stakeholders across the county have the chance to learn and develop their knowledge and understanding of key EDI themes. We want to support football providers across Essex to create inclusive environments that offer opportunities for everyone within their communities.
