DEVELOPING THE PRACTICE

October is our ‘Developing the Practice’ month. This month is all about how coaches can best support their players in transferring what they practice into the game environment.

It will also challenge coaches to value the process of reflection as part of the planning process. All our future workshops within October can be booked onto via our website. We look forward to seeing you soon!

INCORPORATING GOALKEEPERS

This workshop aims to support coaches to help them meet the needs of their goalkeepers within their practices. Quite often, coaches separate their goalkeepers from their outfield practices or are not entirely sure on how best to support them within it.

We often don't have the luxury of having a separate ‘Goalkeeping Coach’, which can often be challenging. This workshop attempts to help coaches to better understand their needs, and how to then make them feel more integrated with the rest of the team.

YOUTH LEAGUE ENGAGEMENT

We have supported over 170 coaches (so far!) who support players within our youngest age groups across Essex. We had some great early feedback, including:

“Thank you very much, very insightful.”

“Everyone is in the same boat and wants to do the best for their team they are working with.”

Contact your league today to find out if they have engaged in our Youth League Programme!
