BBC Essex Saturday Premier Cup Semi-Final Draw

We're down the the last four teams, with the ties due to be played on Saturday 11th March

The semi-final draw for the BBC Essex Saturday Premier Cup was broadcast tonight, with two ties due to be played on Saturday 11th March.

The Premier Cup entries hail from our Regional Feeder leagues including the top divisions of the Essex Alliance League and Essex & Suffolk Border as well as the higher divisions of the Essex Olympian League. The competition is also open to reserve sides of our senior clubs.

We are now down to the final four sides with, Rayleigh Town, Shenfield Association, Wakering Sports Reserves and Woodford East all vying for a place in the final, which is being held at Billericay Town’s AGP Arena, on Wednesday 12th April. Woodford East Manager Halil Hassan and Shenfield Association Manager Kevin Williamson assisted us with the draw, with Halil pulling out the home teams and Kevin drawing the away sides.

Shenfield Association, who overcame Corinthians in the previous round will have a home tie against fellow Essex Olympian League Premier Division side Rayleigh Town. Their meeting in the league earlier on in the season ended with both teams taking a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Wakering Sports Reserves, the only reserve side left in the competition, have been drawn at home to last season’s beaten finalists Woodford East, who will be looking to go one better this season and take the trophy home.
