We're looking for an influential and motivated Football Development Officer to help develop projects which support clubs, leagues, volunteers and wider partners as part of the 2024 ‘Moving Forward’ Strategy.

A position has become available in our Development Team, and responsibilities for the successful candidate will include enhancing grassroots football provision, with a specific focus on the local authority areas of Basildon, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock. Applications are being welcomed until 5:00pm on Monday 15th November.

When identifying a suitable individual for the position, we will look for experience and knowledge of grassroots football and The FA’s National Game Strategy. An ability to manage a diverse work programme and multiple priorities is also a requirement, as well as good communication and project-planning skills. This vacancy is not a coaching role.
