Grassroots teams from across the country can now sign-up to compete in the FA People's Cup for 2019, with qualifiers taking place all over Essex during February.

The People’s Cup, which is the largest small-sided football competition in the country, is made up of many different categories and offers a chance of glory for all. There are two rounds to progress through before the finals are held at St George’s Park in April, with a chance to be at Wembley Stadium for the Emirates FA Cup Final in May.

After the first round across the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February, teams who progress will head into the semi-finals during Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March at twelve regional venues. The titles will then be dished out at St George’s Park during the Grand Finals on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April.

Small-sided providers in Southend, Romford, Fairlop, Dagenham, Colchester and Newham will be staging categories, which include: Adult Male and Female, Adult Male Disability, Male Veterans, Walking Football, Youth Disability.
