Referee Re-Registration

Essex Referees Prepare for 2018/19 Season

Match Official Re-Registration Nears Completion

Referee re-registrations with the Essex County FA remain open for season 2018/19 and can be completed online using The FA’s online ‘Whole Game System’, which is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our website.

There are over 1,600 registered referees in the county, ranging from those just setting out in the game to individuals who have progressed to officiating in the professional arena. The County FA support their development, from initially booking them onto courses, in gaining promotion and also by mentoring and assessing them throughout their career.

The annual re-registration began in April and, once complete, a new affiliation number will be issued for the forthcoming campaign. Beyond re-registration, the FA Whole Game System has many additional features for referees, including online misconduct reporting, the management of personal contact details and equality and diversity information.

Existing referees can re-register and find out more by following this link. New referees can find information on workshops and courses in the 'Referees' menu above and information is also shared on Twitter @EssexCountyFA and by searching for ‘EssexFootball’ on Facebook.
