Local football teams have discovered who they’ll face in the opening rounds of the 2018/19 Essex County Cup competitions after the highly-anticipated draws were published online.
Male and female clubs, both in adult and youth football, are aiming for extended runs in their respective cups, with the ultimate aim of reaching one of the finals which take place between March and May each year at senior grounds around Essex.
As well as six male open-age competitions embracing Saturday and Sunday football, there are two veterans, five female and six youth cups, with the youngest age groups in both boys’ and girls’ football being played in a 9v9 format.
BBC Essex continue their backing of local competitions by supporting the Senior, Saturday Premier and Women’s Cups, broadcasting draws for the Quarter-Finals onwards for the Saturday Premier and Women’s Cups, plus every round of the Senior Cup on DAB digital radio and through their website at www.bbc.co.uk/essex.
The draws for all of Essex’s County Cups can be found by clicking here. The online ‘Full-Time’ system is again being used to allow clubs and referees to view up-to-date information, including draws and match official appointments.
