An exciting opportunity has arisen to coach with our Girls Regional Talent Club, based in Colchester.

Title: Regional Talent Club Coach
Hours: Maximum 3.5 training hours (Mondays and Wednesdays) plus matchdays (Saturdays or Sundays)
Location: Shrub End Sports & Community Centre, Colchester and Colchester Garrison
Responsible To: Club Manager, Essex County FA
Purpose of Post: To deliver practical football sessions in-line with the Regional Talent Club technical programme
Start Date: Trials June 2017, season starts August 2017

Responsible For:

* the welfare of players within their designated age group
* providing high-quality coaching and support
* implementing a training and games programme in line with Long Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines
* delivery of twice-yearly player assessments, including providing written reviews

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Essential

* FA Level 2 Coaching Award
* FA Youth Award - Modules 1 and 2
* FA licensed
* FA Emergency First Aid Qualification (up-to-date)
* knowledge and understanding of child protection issues, including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
* an accepted DBS Enhanced Criminal Records Check (CRC)
* experience in coaching girls’ football
* an understanding of current Regional Talent Club structures
* have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs
* own transport essential

Desirable

* UEFA 'B' License
* an understanding of talent identification
* an appreciation of Long Term Player Development (LTPD)
* knowledge and understanding of working with young players
* ability to work in a team environment
* understanding of the FA Girls' & Women’s Player Pathway
