Girls' Regional Talent Club

developing players who love playing football

Part of the FA Female Talent Pathway

Essex are one of 28 Girls' Regional Talent Club (RTC) centres across the country, and it will have been under the Essex County FA banner for the tenth season in 2022/23.

The aim of the programme is to create an elite environment in order to develop ever-evolving players, people and teams who are strong technically, mentally, physically and socially, who also have a desire to win.

The vision, aligned to the FA Female Talent Pathway, is to produce technically proficient players who progress through the pathway and achieve England recognition. Within our programme, we will ensure that each RTC player will love playing football.

They will always work hard, play with bravery, show teamwork, and have a winning mentality. Since Essex's RTC was under the Essex County FA banner, over 600 players have been supported, with over 20 who have gained England recognition within their respective youth age groups.

This season, we will be supporting Under 12s (single-age banding), Under 14s and Under 16s (dual-age banding).
