New Format for the UEFA ‘B’ Level 3: The FA Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Football is no longer run at a local level by County FAs by now by by FA Learning, as opposed to 1st4Sport Qualifications. The course will now take place on a regional basis and it is proposed that there will be two per year. Register your interest for the next Essex-based course at Essex University (CL346), or others around the Country, by E-Mail at FALearningSupport@TheFA.com or call The FA Learning Hotline on (0844) 980 8200.

Your Five Steps to Booking Online! We’re proud to announce that bookings for all courses and workshops can now be made online via the new ‘Participant’ system, which requires payment to be made by credit or debit card. In order to make this process easier, below we’ve highlighted some simple steps which will help you book onto your choice of course or event with us.

Step 1: Click the ‘Events/Courses – Book Online’ tab on the left-hand side. Select the course or event you are interested in attending.

Step 2: More information will then be displayed, including the venue, dates and an outline of the course. If you wish to sign-up, scroll to the bottom and enter your FA Number (FAN) and password then click ‘Login’. If you’re a league or club official, referee, coach and/or player it’s extremely likely you already have a FAN. E-Mail GetOnline@TheFA.com with your name, date of birth and address and your FAN and password will be E-Mailed to you. If you haven’t, click the appropriate link and you can register online before proceeding.

Step 3: If your login details are correct, you will now be able to advance to the booking system. Your name will be displayed at the top and you can then enrol on multiple courses or events without having to login again. Simply scroll to the bottom and enter the enrolment details. The fields marked with an ‘*’ must be entered. Click the ‘Enrol’ button once you have finished.

Step 4: To complete your enrolment, fill out your card details and click the enrolment button.

Step 5: If your payment is successful, a confirmation number will be displayed on your screen which you can print off. If you’re undertaking a course at your club’s expense you will be able to pass a copy of your confirmation to the club’s treasurer for reimbursement.

We hope this system makes applying for courses more efficient though, on the rare occasion that you do encounter a problem, the Courses Department at the County Office will be delighted to help on (01245) 393070/1/2. Cheque payments can still be accepted.
