| The
Essex County FA are delighted to announce that
Chris Evans will be the Association's new Press
& Publicity Officer from June 4. |

The
24-year-old replaces Matt Phillips who is moving
to Soho Square to take up a new position within
The FA's media department.
Chris, who will takeover as editor of both
essexfa.com and ECFA Magazine, commented:
"Our media output has increased both in
quality and quantity since Matt was appointed
nearly six years ago and I'm thrilled to have the
opportunity to continue that progress and
introduce some new ideas as well."
Matt has been at the Essex County FA since October
2001 and helped build the Association's media
department from scratch: "I'm very proud of
both our website and magazine and I'm sure Chris
will do a great job in taking the Essex County FA
into a new media era."
"Many thanks go to all the clubs, leagues and
volunteers from around the county who have
contributed with some great stories over the last
few years and I look forward to reading about
Essex football in the future," said Matt.
