AFFILIATION

 
The affiliation process for season 2009/10 is about to get underway, and existing Member Clubs have until 1st July to ensure their Forms are returned in time for the forthcoming season. This is also the deadline for entries into one of the E.C.F.A. County Cups and to avoid the Late Affiliation Fine.
 
Last season, the number of affiliated clubs throughout Essex was as follows:

Affiliation forms for the new campaign will not be sent out to existing clubs until the week beginning 11th May 2009, with new clubs receiving their packs by the end of May, but prospective new clubs are invited to contact the County Office to register their details. Clubs should have three or four alternative names ready in case their first choice is not available.

There is no set deadline for the submission of New Club Forms, although to register with a League or Competition you will need to affiliate a.s.a.p. to receive your required Affiliation Number.

The deadline each season for all EXISTING clubs to re-affiliate is 1st July and there is a £25 'Late Affiliation Fee' applicable after this date.

For the 2009/10 season the Essex County F.A., as part of a specific £200,000 investment back into the game over a four-year period from the 2006/07 campaign, has covered the costs of each club's Public Liability Cover at Step Seven of the National League System and below, worth £18 per club.

PLEASE NOTE! All youth clubs will require a Club Welfare Officer who holds a valid F.A. C.R.B. Check and who has completed a Safeguarding Children Workshop within the past three years. For more information, please see the file below.
